The next big thing from the backyards of Apple, the biggest technology company (well, almost!) iPhone 6 is apparently being worked upon. This news is not from a tech crazy maniac who is running the rumor mill. Rather, app usage logs suggest so.
Wait, what just happened? You say App usage logs show iPhone 6 and iOS 7 being unwrapped. How?
When an app developer launches an app, the developer can see who the Application’s data usage. And recently, some developers whose apps are popular have seen that Apple’s iOS 6.1 running on iOS 7 reference in the app usage logs. Interestingly, the IP addresses of the new devices are originating from Cupertino, California; exactly where Apple headquarters are located. Intriguing!
iPhone 6 , iOS 7 : What to expect
To start with, let’s see the cold war between Google and Apple ending. Apple users don’t want to be penalized with another Apple Maps disaster. And then, moving on, a better app management is definitely on the top of our wish lists. When asked, a few Apple iPhone 5 users say they would love to get customized default apps for basics like emails and calendars and changes like hiding apps you never use or creating better, bolder icons.
When can we lay our hands on iPhone 6
To be frank, can’t say. A few months back, a tech blog said we would get the next iPhone by late December 2012. So far, we only have rumors and leaks to follow. Unless Apple makes an official statement, you should take all the news with a pinch of salt. (No, don’t eat apple and salt. No point. Just kidding.)
Lately we have got an overdose of rumors about Apple devices. But as this one comes from reliable sources and is backed by data (by which I refer to the app data usage logs), we thought it could be shared with you.
Happy New Year to all! Guess the news of a better iPhone 6 with fantastic and powerful iOS 7 be good enough for a new year wish, right.
