A month back when the Google Nexus 4 was launched, it got sold out on Google Play store within an hour. Though stockavailability is still a big issue with model, here you can keep a watch on the Play Store to know when it is made available.
Here is a detailed review of the LG Google Nexus 4.
The hardware and the body of Google Nexus 4
» When you pick up the phone, you instantly feel that this is an LG model . It is light and comfortable on hand, but not as solid to feel like the Galaxy Nexus. The Galaxy Nexus (Google – Samsung) has a textured back which gives the user a better grip. And this new model by LG has a glass back which looks better but does not give the same feeling when held. On the plus side though, it is lighter.
» A disadvantage as many would see it , is the non removable battery.
» There is no expandable memory. The model comes in two variants – 8 GB and 16 GB.
» The screen looks bigger than Galaxy Nexus. This is only because the Google Nexus 4 is wider whereas the Galaxy Nexus is longer.
Performance
» The superior IPS Display is really good giving a far better color display than other Nexus models.
» Coming to the winning factor of the Google Nexus 4 – the ultra super processor. The UI itself is fluid without any lag. LG has used Qualcomm APQ 8064 Quad Core SOC based on S4 Pro chipset and features 4 Krait CPUs running at 1.5 GHz along with an Adreno 320 GPU. That is simply awesome!
Features
» The camera is 8 MP backside sensor illuminated that allows more light to be captured than any other 8 MP camera . (Note – BSI Sensor are now being commonly used in good smartphones. Apple iPhone 4 too has this). The HDR mode is a special camera feature available only in Nexus 4 in the Nexus series.
