Windows 8 – upgrade to the latest version now


Windows 8 is here and from today, Microsoft’s touch screen devices will make their way into users hands soon.
The latest Operating System from Microsoft is a drastic change from the traditional Windows design we have been using over the years. Steve Ballmer has aptly said
          "We have re imagined Windows, and we have re imagined the whole PC industry"
The new interface aims to give touch screen with PC experience with the new tiled design we are used to using on smartphones, tablets. The latest version boasts of intuitive Start screen and tiles with rich content and real time update.
Upgrade to Windows 8
To upgrade with DVD – get the DVD for $70.
Claim special price – did you buy your PC after 2nd June, 2012? If yes, then you can get the Windows 8 Pro for special price of Rs 699 only. You need to register and download before January 31, 2013.
For older PCs – if your PC with Windows was bought before 2nd June 2012, and you have “Windows XP with Service Pack 3” or “Windows Vista” or “Windows 7”, you can upgrade to Windows 8 for $40.
Netbook users having Windows 7 starter edition will not get Windows 8 Pro.
Before upgrading, make sure you have Windows 7 OEM Certificate of Authenticity and Product Key.

  4. Run this “Upgrade Assistance”
  5. If compatible, you will be asked for details and payment
